Master's scholarships in Europe for Indian students
Europe holds more postgraduate awards in our catalogue than any single country does, and the reason to look here is not only the number. Where public universities charge little or no tuition, a living-cost grant is worth more than a fee waiver would be anywhere else.

Where the money is
- DAAD — study and research funding for Germany, usually with a living stipend.
- Erasmus Mundus — fully funded joint master's spanning several countries.
- National schemes, which vary widely in whether non-EU students qualify.
- University awards, usually fee waivers and therefore worth less where fees are already low.
Check eligibility before investing effort: a good number of national schemes are open only to EU students, and that is not always obvious from the scheme's own summary.
What the award has to cover
- Living costs, which are the binding constraint in low-tuition countries.
- The blocked account or proof-of-funds requirement, which a scholarship may reduce.
- Health insurance, which is mandatory and separate.
- The semester contribution, which is modest but real.
