We haven't confirmed this year's application window, and these dates move every cycle — so we won't print one. The official page is the only reliable source. Ask us and we'll track it for you and tell you when it opens.
Eligibility
Four conditions, and two of them catch people. You need a qualification awarded outside the Italian education system that admits you to your chosen second cycle degree, you must not already be a Bologna student, and you must be under 30 at the application deadline. Then the unusual pair: a GRE General Test score taken after 30 May 2020, with at least 290 across Verbal and Quantitative Reasoning and 3.0 in Analytical Writing — rare for a European master's and an absolute bar if you have not sat it — and an income BAND rather than a ceiling, an ISEE between €16,000 and €35,000 or equivalent, so applicants below the floor fall outside it too.
Applications go strictly through Studenti Online inside a fixed window — for 2025/26, from 17 January at 12:00 CET to 30 May at 12:00 CEST — with thirty scholarships offered that year. Because the GRE score has to be in hand when you apply, booking the test is the step that decides whether a given cycle is realistic at all; it is not something that can be added later.
€6,500 gross plus full exemption from tuition fees, awarded for two academic years. Confirm the current value on the official page before you apply.
