We haven't confirmed this year's application window, and these dates move every cycle — so we won't print one. The official page is the only reliable source. Ask us and we'll track it for you and tell you when it opens.

Eligibility

Open to master's applicants from any country in the world, so there is no country list to clear. You need a first higher education degree or a recognised equivalent, and you may apply in the final year of it provided you graduate before the master's begins. India is among the top five countries for Erasmus Mundus scholarship holders — 2,199 Indian students, about 6% of the programme — so this is a well-trodden route rather than a long shot. One structural point: a joint master's involves at least three institutions in three different countries, so moving between them is part of the degree rather than an option.

How to apply

You apply to the CONSORTIUM running the programme, never to the European Union, and each sets its own documents and deadline — most fall between October and January for courses starting the following academic year. You choose from the official catalogue of joint masters and apply to each separately. There is no central form and no single date, which is the difference between this and the Erasmus+ mobility grants it is often confused with.
