We haven't confirmed this year's application window, and these dates move every cycle — so we won't print one. The official page is the only reliable source. Ask us and we'll track it for you and tell you when it opens.

Eligibility

This is not something a student applies to the EU for, and getting that straight saves a wasted cycle. Erasmus+ international credit mobility funds a period of study at a European university as part of the degree you are already enrolled on, and it depends on your Indian university holding an inter-institutional agreement with the European one — only the European institution can apply for the funding. If your university has no agreement, there is nothing here for you yet. India is an eligible partner country, and selection is made by the two institutions against criteria they set between them. Note also that this is credit mobility, not the separate Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters, which is a full degree you do apply for yourself.

How to apply

Start at your own university's international or Erasmus+ office, because they hold the agreements and run the call — and if they have not heard of it, you have your answer. The mobility has to be recognised by both institutions through a Learning Agreement signed before you travel, which is what makes the credits count towards your degree at home rather than amounting to a year out.
