Eligibility
Open to students entering a Master's programme at ETH Zurich, excluding MAS programmes. ETH asks for a very good Bachelor's result — the top 10% of your cohort, which it describes as a grade A and leaves to your own assessment. You are not eligible if you are already enrolled in an ETH Master's or already hold a Master's degree. ETH publishes no nationality restriction, so Indian applicants are eligible on the same terms. You must also be available for a phone or video interview in February.
Applied for within the ETH Master's application window — an application outside it is not considered, so the scholarship deadline is effectively the admission deadline. You submit a master thesis pre-proposal and two reference letters where your programme does not already require them. Shortlisted candidates are interviewed by phone or videoconference in February.
CHF 12,000 per semester (CHF 13,500 from HS27) plus a tuition fee waiver, for the regular duration of the Master's. Confirm the current value on the official page before you apply.
