Pharmaceutical Research, Development and Safety

How do we create the effective, safe and sustainable drug treatments of the future?  The Master’s Programme in Pharmaceutical Research, Development and Safety is an international master’s programme aimed at those who wish to deepen their knowledge and skills in drug and medication research.  The aging population, need for rapidly evolving medication solutions and the challenge of meeting sustainability criteria are factors that highlight the growing importance and need of experts in the design of pharmaceuticals, their use and associated regulatory processes in society. There is an equal need for pharmaceutical experts in academia, industry and the public sector, and a growing demand for expertise in medication risk management and health technology assessment (HTA).   The graduates of the programme will obtain essential information regarding the entire life cycle of medicines, from their discovery to their sustainable use and disposal.
