About this programme

A flexible master's in which students build a personalised curriculum from a wide set of optional modules around two core modules, Computing Masters Project and Research Methods. It is designed to suit both working professionals and recent graduates seeking technical advancement. Entry normally requires a first degree at 2:2 minimum in a related discipline, or relevant professional experience and equivalent qualifications. What the fee covers: the international full-time rate, per year. Fee year: 2026-27. English requirement as published: IELTS 6.0 or equivalent. Before you budget: the page prints 'International £17,000 a year' against a UK rate of £8,365 a year. Unlike Teesside's other master's listed here, this course has only two start points, January and September; a September start completes within one year while a January start runs 16 months. Teesside requires a £4,000 pre-CAS deposit (https://www.tees.ac.uk/sections/international/fees.cfm). This is the Middlesbrough campus.
