Business Administration

The Master of Science in Business Administration is an internationally-oriented, research-based programme that allows students to tailor their studies to their individual strengths and interests. Designed for graduates in business or related fields, the programme combines academic depth with practical relevance. Students choose one of four majors – Accounting, Finance, Management, or Marketing – and complement it with a minor in one of eight areas, including Entrepreneurship, Information Systems, and Economics. This modular structure enables flexible combinations and supports the development of a unique academic profile. The curriculum includes theoretical and applied courses, seminars, and case studies. Students gain practical experience through real-world business challenges, such as the John Molson International Case Competition, and they collaborate with top companies during their studies. With an English-taught curriculum and opportunities for international exchange, the programme offers excellent preparation for global careers in business, consulting, and academia. The Master's programme in Business Administration spans four semesters (120 ECTS) and offers a modular, highly customisable study structure. Programme structure: First Year (Semesters 1 and 2): Selection of a Major (Accounting, Finance, Management, or Marketing) Each major includes specialised core modules, e.g.: Management: Leadership and Organisational Behaviour; Accounting: Financial Reporting, Auditing; Marketing: Consumer Behaviour, Brand Management; Finance: Investment Management, Risk Management. Choice of a Minor (Accounting, Finance, Management, Marketing, Economics, Information Systems, Business Research, Entrepreneurship): Minor subjects deepen or broaden knowledge beyond the major field.
