Typically for the more accessible Portuguese universities, a recognised bachelor's in a broadly related subject with a solid pass-level record is the main academic requirement, and a three-year Indian degree is normally accepted; many run phased intake rounds rather than one competitive deadline. English-taught master's exist but are a limited subset at this level, so confirm the language of instruction before applying — those usually ask around IELTS 6.0-6.5, while Portuguese-taught programmes expect around B2. A medium-of-instruction letter is sometimes accepted in place of a test, but plan for a test score unless the university confirms otherwise in writing.
