BSc (Hons) in Software Development (MT800)

MT800 is a four-year Level 8 honours degree at MTU's Bishopstown campus in Cork. It teaches students to design and build applications for desktop, web and mobile, working across Python, Java, C, JavaScript and PHP alongside databases, operating systems and emerging areas such as cloud computing and machine learning. Year 3 includes a work placement starting in January, organised nationwide with a focus on Cork and Dublin, with some placements available in France, Germany, Sweden and the USA.
