That’s why this bachelor’s programme mirrors real working life and is designed much like the way doctors are trained. Instead of memorization or traditional exams, learning focuses on exploring concepts through meaningful activities.You’ll work daily in small, collaborative groups guided by academic experts. Through immersive, project-based learning, you’ll grow into a skilled technology developer.Software engineering combines logical reasoning with practical application. AI plays an increasing role in coding, but it’s not a shortcut to success. Those who thrive are the ones who can both create software and use AI effectively as a tool.The Immersive Software Engineering and AI programme is a three-year degree (180 ECTS). The curriculum includes:Software engineering,Artificial intelligence,Mathematics,Entrepreneurship and business, including insights into the European and Finnish business network, andFinnish language, society and culture, covering the Nordic region and the European Union.The programme includes two four-month internships in companies developing modern IT systems. If you pass the recruitment interview with a participating company, which will take place shortly before the internship, your internship will be paid. These internships allow you to apply what you’ve learned and continue developing your skills in real professional environments.Your studies prepare you for demanding roles in the IT industry. To support integration into local working life, the programme also includes Finnish language studies.
