About this programme
The programme offers international experience and uses an integrated approach to focus on developing your leadership talent and management skills. It is a well-designed combination of core modules (Business and Leadership Essentials), advanced modules (Business and Leadership Electives) and the final Master's thesis. The programme encompasses 90 ECTS credits in total. Business and Leadership Essentials: Problem Solving and Communication Global Economics Strategy Marketing Entrepreneurship Reporting Financial Management Supply Chain Management & Logistics Me as a Leader Negotiation Ethics and Sustainability New in a Leadership Role Business and Leadership Electives: Innovative Impact Financial Brilliancy Strategic Mastery International module (study abroad or Global Immersion Seminar) The on-the-job programme perfectly combines theory and practice. If selected by the student, the programme ends with the Global Immersion Seminar, a one-week seminar abroad that includes lectures and company visits. For the next intake, we’ve chosen one of the most exciting emerging cities in the world — Cape Town, South Africa — home to a thriving business landscape and a top-tier partner institution: Stellenbosch University Business School, one of Africa’s leading business schools. A semester abroad at one of HHL's partner universities is optional. The programme is designed as a 24-month programme starting in September. The schedule is a balanced combination of on- and off-campus learning combined with residential weeks. First year: one residential week at HHL in Leipzig plus nine intensive weekends (Friday to Sunday) at HHL in Leipzig Second year: one residential week and one week abroad (Global Immersion Seminar) plus eight intensive course weekends at HHL in Leipzig
