The course comprises the following compulsory modules: Applied Analytical Chemistry Applied Microbiology (Geomicrobiology/Hygiene) Chemometrics and Statistics Environmental Microbiology Water Chemistry Within these modules, two laboratory courses in Environmental Microbiology and Analytical Chemistry are included. An additional, research-oriented practical course in the third semester can be chosen either in these or related subjects. Additional optional courses have to be chosen from a variety of water-related topics to set a more individual study focus. The Master's programme in Water Science comprises four semesters, including a 26-week Master's thesis in the final semester.
