TRU's MBA requires 30 credits for graduation, with a minimum of 21 credits at the 6000 level, and is offered at the Kamloops campus with September, January and May intakes. Students choose one of three completion routes: course-based, graduate project, or graduate thesis. English requirement as published: IELTS 7.0, or TOEFL iBT 94, or PTE 68, for applicants from non-English-medium universities. Before you budget: TRU's 2026-2027 table states 'Master of Business Administration $57,235', and that is simply the standard two-year MBA. You may see it explained as the Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (CAD 17,979) followed by the one-year MBA (CAD 39,256), because those two happen to add to exactly CAD 57,235 — but TRU's MBA page nowhere names the GDBA as a precursor to the MBA, so treat the arithmetic as a coincidence rather than a route. What TRU actually says is: 'TRU's admissions committee will review your educational background in order to determine if you will start in the two-year MBA program or the one-year accelerated MBA program.' Most Indian applicants are placed in the two-year route and should budget CAD 57,235. Entry: an acceptable three- or four-year undergraduate degree in any discipline with a minimum B average (3.0 GPA) in the last 60 credits, plus a quantitative skills assessment, letter of intent and resume.
