Graduates of the Laboratory Science program are experts in biological and chemical analyses. They possess advanced skills in safe and high-quality laboratory practices, accurate reporting of analytical results, application of statistical methods, and the development and validation of analytical techniques.The curriculum provides a comprehensive foundation in the diverse fields of biology and chemistry. Through internships, projects, thesis, and elective studies, students can tailor their expertise according to their individual interests and career goals.Practical laboratory training is emphasized throughout the program, with at least half of the studies conducted in laboratory settings. Students learn to integrate theoretical knowledge with practical applications, for example, through pair and small-group projects. Theoretical instruction is delivered in interactive lectures and digital learning environments.Graduate Laboratory analysts are qualified to work in research institutes and industrial laboratories in areas such as analytics, quality control, product development, and testing. Career opportunities also include commercial roles, such as sales or maintenance of laboratory instruments. Laboratory analysts typically work as part of multidisciplinary teams together with chemists, biologists, engineers, and laboratory technicians.
