Applied Gerontology

The objective of the degree programme is to educate professionals in ageing and elderly care, with a focus on various roles within the social and health care sectors. Graduates of the Bachelor's Degree Programme in Applied Gerontology (Geronomi, UAS) are equipped to promote a good, participatory life and meaningful everyday experiences for older adults.The foundation of the degree lies in a holistic understanding of the human being and a view of ageing as a unique and valuable stage of life.
