About this programme
Communication and information technologies are shaping our global society and have a lasting impact on our daily lives. Our international Master of Engineering degree programme in Information Technology aims to qualify both technical specialists and managers in the information technology industry to develop and help shape the infrastructures and devices of the future. In the future, wireless and wired networks will become even faster and even more ubiquitous. Career opportunities are available in the area of research and development of technical systems and in the management of such projects. The programme is divided into four semesters. Semesters one to three each cover 18 weeks of instruction and project work, and semester four is dedicated to the thesis project (applied research or theoretical project). PDF Download

Admission to the programme is restricted: Admission requirements include a first professionally qualifying university degree in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology with a specialisation in Information and Communication Technology or a comparable subject area. The degree programme must have been completed with an overall grade of at least 2.0 and be worth at least 180 ECTS credits. All applicants must submit the following documents with their application: Proof of the admission requirements specified in paragraphs 1 and 3 (see website) A curriculum vitae outlining study and work experience up to the date of application A letter of motivation outlining your particular interest in the Master's degree programme in Information Technology and where you see your own qualifications for this programme Foreign university entrance qualifications will be checked via www.uni-assist.de.
