About this programme
CBU's Bachelor of Engineering (Transfer) is a two-year programme on the Sydney campus at 15 credits per semester. It is designed as a transfer route into an engineering degree completed at a partner institution. It appears as its own line on CBU's 2026-2027 international cost breakdown with a two-year structure. It is open to international applicants. What the fee covers: the international full-time rate — CAD 997.50 tuition plus a CAD 1,152 international differential per 3-credit course, ten courses (30 credits) a year, as published for 'Bachelor of Engineering Transfer'. Fee year: 2026-27. English requirement as published: IELTS 6.5 overall with no individual band below 6.0; or TOEFL iBT 80 (no score below 20) for tests taken before 21 January 2026; or Duolingo 120; or PTE 59; or CAEL 60. Before you budget: CBU's 2026-2027 international breakdown lists 'Bachelor of Engineering Transfer' as its own row at CAD 997.50 plus CAD 1,152 differential per 3-credit course, with Year 1 at CAD 23,794.40, Year 2 at CAD 23,794.40 and a programme total of CAD 47,588.80. The warning matters more than the number: this is not an engineering degree. It is a two-year transfer block, after which you complete the actual engineering degree at another institution and pay that institution separately — so CAD 47,588.80 buys half a qualification rather than the cost of becoming an engineer. The fee is confirmed on CBU's fee page; the programme page has not been separately verified.
