Find the opener, then follow the links
- Find the box that stands alone — it names its subject in full, has no pronoun referring back, and no connector at the front.
- Then follow the references: a box beginning "this process", "they", "such measures" must come after whatever it refers to.
- Use connectors — "however", "as a result", "finally" — which signal position.
- Read the assembled paragraph through before submitting.
The signals
| A box that | Goes |
|---|---|
| Names a subject in full with no back-reference | First |
| Begins with a pronoun or "this/these" | After its referent |
| Begins with however, moreover, as a result | After the thing it responds to |
| Begins with finally, in conclusion, overall | Last |
| Contains a definite article for a thing not yet introduced | After its introduction |
Because pairs are scored, getting two boxes correctly adjacent is worth something even if the whole order is wrong. Never leave this item unarranged.
