A structure that fills the time
- Introduce the topic — *Ich möchte heute über … sprechen.*
- The situation in your own country or experience — concrete, with an example.
- Your view, with a reason — *Meiner Meinung nach …, weil …*
- A close — *Zusammenfassend würde ich sagen, dass …*
The concrete example is what generates language. A talk built on generalities runs dry in forty seconds; one built on a specific place or incident keeps producing sentences.
Showing range without reciting
- Move through time — what it used to be like, what it is like now — which produces tenses naturally.
- Use Konjunktiv II for speculation: *es wäre besser, wenn …*
- Concede once: *zwar …, aber …* shows exactly the structure B2 looks for.
- Keep going to the end of the time. Stopping early gives the examiner less to mark.
Note keywords in the preparation time, not sentences. Notes written as sentences get read aloud, and reading aloud is audibly different from speaking.
