Finance Executive Jobs in Kochi
We're hiring an Finance Executive at our Kochi office. 2–3 years required.
Apply for this roleWhy this job is worth doing in Kochi
Kochi is our Kerala operation, which means a separate state registration and a branch whose records are maintained locally rather than down the corridor from the head office. More of the day-to-day judgement sits with you here.
What you'd be doing day to day
Vibedu handles student fees, university payments and partner settlements across five offices. This role keeps that accurate. It suits someone who has done two or three years of real accounting work and wants ownership of a function rather than one narrow task inside a large finance team.
Your responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounts, vouchers and ledgers in Tally or an equivalent system.
- Coordinate student fee receipts and invoicing, and keep each student's position clear.
- Handle receivables, payables and vendor coordination.
- Document branch-level expenses so each office's spend stands up to review.
- Prepare GST and TDS workings and support filing within deadlines.
What Kochi needs
- Malayalam and English — this branch works in both, and students and parents here expect to ask their questions in their own language.
- Working knowledge of Tally, GST and TDS.
- Strong Excel — a finance executive who cannot build a reconciliation sheet will struggle here.
- Comfortable with a CRM or ERP for fee and invoice records.
Training and onboarding
You are expected to arrive able to do the accounting. What you learn here is the shape of this business: how a student's fee moves, where a university payment sits in the cycle, and what a branch's costs actually look like.
Where it leads
From Finance Executive the route is senior finance and multi-branch accounts. We are a five-office business that is still growing, so the finance function is growing with it.

Questions candidates in Kochi ask us
What qualifications do I need to work as an Education Counsellor at Vibedu?
Any graduate degree, clear spoken and written English, and the local language of the branch you are applying to. A background in overseas education, admissions or counselling is preferred but is not a requirement — we recruit freshers into this role as well.
Can freshers apply for jobs at Vibedu?
Yes, for three of our five open roles: Education Counsellor, Business Development Executive and Front Office Executive. Finance Executive asks for 2–3 years and the IELTS / Language Trainer role asks for 2–5 years, so those two are not open to freshers.
What does an Education Counsellor actually do?
You meet students and their parents, understand what they want, shortlist universities and courses that fit their marks and budget, explain fees, scholarships, intakes and entry requirements honestly, and guide the application through to the point the student flies. Everything is recorded in our CRM so nothing is lost between conversations.
What skills matter most for a study-abroad counsellor?
Being able to explain a complicated thing simply, patience with parents' questions, and the honesty to tell a student when a plan is not realistic. The country knowledge can be taught; those three are harder to train.
Does Vibedu hire for more than one branch?
Yes. We are currently recruiting across all five offices — Coimbatore, Chennai, Madurai, Trichy and Kochi — though not every role is open in every city. Each role page lists the cities it is open in.
Which locations does Vibedu recruit in?
Coimbatore (our head office), Chennai, Madurai and Trichy in Tamil Nadu, and Kochi in Kerala.
How do I apply for a job at Vibedu?
Send your CV by WhatsApp or email, or call our HR team — all three reach the same people. Tell us the role and the city you are applying for. WhatsApp is usually the fastest way to get a reply.
What is the recruitment process at Vibedu?
Six stages: apply, screening, interview, assessment, offer and onboarding. You apply by sending us your CV. Screening is us reading it — we read every CV that reaches us. The interview is a first conversation with HR, then a meeting with the branch team, at the office you are applying to or on video if that is easier. Assessment applies to some roles only: a short practical exercise relevant to the job, and we tell you what to expect beforehand. Then the offer, and onboarding — training on our systems and on the countries and courses you will be working with.
Are there finance and accounts jobs at Vibedu?
Yes — we are hiring a Finance Executive for Kochi, Chennai and Coimbatore. It asks for 2–3 years of hands-on accounting experience and working knowledge of Tally, GST and TDS.
Does Vibedu hire Business Development Executives?
Yes, across all five offices. It is a travelling role — you build relationships with colleges, schools and coaching institutes and run study-abroad sessions on campus. We take experienced candidates and freshers who are willing to be on the road.
Does Vibedu hire Front Office Executives?
Yes, for Madurai, Kochi and Chennai. Freshers can apply; we train you on our systems.
Can I apply if I have no study-abroad industry experience?
For Education Counsellor, Business Development Executive and Front Office Executive, yes. We would rather train someone who genuinely wants to help students than hire someone who already knows the jargon but not the point of it.
What does Vibedu offer besides salary?
Insurance that covers your family, Provident Fund, incentives alongside your fixed salary, and special allowances from your third year with us.
