About this programme
UOWD's fee schedule lists all Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) majors as 4 years and 32 subjects. This computer engineering major covers electrical engineering, software design and hardware-software integration, from super-computer development to circuit design. Students build expertise in computer architecture and software design and in combining hardware and software solutions. UOWD prices its engineering degrees above its computer science and business degrees.
What the fee covers: 'Yearly Fees (VAT 5% inclusive)' of AED 68,909, or USD 18,777, stated against a four-year, 32-subject structure. Fees vary with the number of subjects you enrol in each year.
English requirement as published: IELTS Academic 6.0 overall with a minimum of 6.0 in each band, for direct entry.
Before you budget: UOWD's engineering fee table states '4 years / 32 subjects' for every engineering major and names 'Computer and Autonomous Systems' among them, alongside Civil, Electrical and Electronics, Mechanical and Mechatronic — all at AED 68,909 / USD 18,777. At that rate across four years, tuition comes to roughly AED 275,636, about AED 85,289 more than a three-year UOWD computer science degree. UOWD states no academic year against its fee tables — the one real gap in all its records here — so settle the figure by phone before you budget.
