International Business Management

International Business Management is a degree programme offered by the AACSB-accredited Oulu Business School. In this programme, students learn to manage international business in a Nordic style, creativity, and sustainability as their main drivers.The Bachelor’s degree in International Business Management is part of a five-year degree programme that consists of a three-year Bachelor’s and a two-year Master’s degree. Students accepted for the Bachelor’s degree programme in International Business Management automatically have the right to complete their Master’s degree in the International Business Management programme.The Bachelor's programme in International Business Management focuses on addressing the contemporary global business challenges from the Nordic perspective, by drawing upon the ideas of entrepreneurial leadership and responsible business. Based on this focus, the key aims of the Bachelor's programme in International Business Management are the following: (1) to introduce to the students the key aspects and theories of international business management based on state-of-the art research (2) to familiarize the students with the Nordic business context and the contemporary global business challenges, and (3) to provide students with opportunities to develop their management skills by complementing the theoretical teaching with practical assignments.
