Master of Nursing Practice (Graduate Entry) (HLM601)

This two-year, 48-credit-point programme is delivered on campus at UC's Bruce campus in Canberra and leads to registration as a Registered Nurse in Australia. Students complete 800 hours of clinical practice across local and regional medical settings including hospitals and healthcare clinics, with theory delivered through blended online and face-to-face teaching. Graduates are eligible to apply for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). What the fee covers: the international annual rate for a standard full-time enrolment of 24 credit points (1 EFTSL). Fee year: 2026. English requirement as published: IELTS Academic 7.0 overall with 7.0 in listening, reading and speaking and 6.5 in writing, or an equivalent OET, TOEFL iBT or PTE Academic score. Before you budget: UC's page carries an international rate of AUD 39,500 for 2026 and AUD 40,000 for 2027. This is the only University of Canberra course listed here that is not AUD 42,000 or AUD 38,000, and the lower figure is confirmed rather than assumed. The international application window is extremely short: UC states international applications open on 1 September and close on 15 September each year. Entry requires a completed bachelor degree in any discipline with a credit or higher average, completed within 10 years of application. The English requirement is the AHPRA-level standard and is materially harder than on UC's other courses. SSAF is payable on top of tuition, and two years at the 2026 rate is about AUD 79,000.
