About this programme
The English-taught Master's degree programme Mechanical Engineering International is aimed particularly at international students and teaches advanced engineering methods for the analysis, modelling and optimisation of complex technical systems. Students develop scientifically sound solutions and learn to design and implement innovative products, processes and systems independently. In the Master's degree programme Mechanical Engineering International, you will deepen your engineering expertise, building on a relevant Bachelor’s degree. Thanks to a flexible selection of modules rather than fixed specialisations, you can develop your professional profile to suit your individual needs. This allows you to tailor your studies specifically to your personal career goals whilst simultaneously building interdisciplinary expertise. The programme includes mandatory modules such as Advanced Dynamics, Project Management, Smart Manufacturing Systems, Structural Optimisation, Product Lifecycle Management, Smart Robotics, Structural Health Monitoring and Intercultural Training. The programme is complemented by elective modules, project work or extended project work, and the Master's thesis with a colloquium.
