About this programme

A three-year honours degree in MMU's Faculty of Computing and Informatics, registered as (R3/0611/6/0110) 06/29 (MQA/FA16431). The programme prepares students in information systems applications development and current and emerging technologies, with career paths including application developer, database administrator, business analyst, IT consultant and information systems manager. MMU is a Malaysian private university with campuses in Cyberjaya and Melaka. What the fee covers: the international student full-time rate. The figure shown is MMU's own printed 'ESTIMATED YEARLY PROGRAMME FEE (RM)' in the 'FOUNDATION, DIPLOMA & UNDERGRADUATE FEES SCHEDULE (INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS)' — RM 28,400 a year, against a total programme fee of RM 85,000 over three years. It excludes the 6% Sales and Service Tax. Fee year: 2026. English requirement as published: IELTS 5.0, from MMU's Senate-approved English requirement document rather than the programme page. Before you budget: make sure you are reading the current schedule. The live file reached from https://www.mmu.edu.my/fee-structure-international/ is the 16 June 2026 'October 2026 Pricing' update; an earlier 22 April 2026 version is still in circulation with materially different numbers. On the name: this degree is simply 'Bachelor of Information Technology (Honours)', registered R3/0611/6/0110 06/29 (MQA/FA16431) — there is no 'Information Systems' version of it, and that phrase does not appear anywhere in MMU's fee schedule. The schedule lists a bare 'Bachelor of Information Technology (Honours)' plus Data Communication and Networking, Business Intelligence and Analytics, and Security Technology variants, all at RM 85,000 in total and RM 28,400 a year, so the figure is unambiguous whichever you take. Add the tax: the schedule states all fees are listed before the 6% Sales and Service Tax, which is roughly RM 5,100 on an RM 85,000 tuition total. Other charges are the same as MMU's other degrees: RM 7,000 in one-time acceptance payments, RM 4,000 for student-visa processing, an RM 3,000 deposit, RM 400 a year in advance tuition, an RM 50 programme fee and trimester fees of RM 160 or RM 80. About the intake: the programme page publishes none. What is shown is MMU's only advertised international undergraduate intake, correctly labelled by nationality and level, but it is university-wide and it is a dated one-off that expires on 23 September 2026 — check with MMU directly for intakes after that date.
