Three conditions: you must be liable for the Overseas fee rate, come from a lower income background, and have submitted a COMPLETE admission application — references included — for a full-time master's at UCL. The income condition is the one most applicants read past: this is means-tested, not a merit prize. It is open across all postgraduate taught programmes. Worth knowing for an Indian applicant: of the 85 scholarships available for 2026/27, five are ring-fenced for students from India.
