Eligibility
Age limits by level: under 21 for a bachelor's, under 30 for a master's, under 35 for a doctorate. The academic floor is a minimum score of 70% in high school for undergraduate entry and 75% in your previous degree for a master's or doctorate — with a much higher 90% required for medicine, dentistry and pharmacy. Open to citizens of any country, except Turkish citizens and anyone who has lost Turkish citizenship, so Indian applicants are eligible on the same terms as everyone else.
One application in a single annual window — the 2025 round ran from 10 January to 20 February — and the scheme places you rather than asking you to arrange admission yourself: you rank preferred universities and programmes inside the scholarship application, and placement comes with the award. That is the opposite of how Taiwan and most other government schemes work, and it means there is no separate university application to run alongside it.
