Eligibility
Age limits run by level and are firm: 17 to 25 for undergraduate study and for the Arabic language institutes, up to 30 for a master's and up to 35 for a doctorate. You need a passport valid for at least six months, admission from a licensed and accredited institution in the Kingdom, and evidence that you can meet tuition and living costs — or a financial guarantee — even while applying for funding. Both fully funded and partially funded scholarships exist under this one name, so establish which a given programme is offering before treating it as covered.
One application through the Ministry of Education's Study in Saudi platform, which forwards it to the institution you selected. The institution reviews it first, and only then do the institution and the Ministry together complete the admission formalities — two approvals in sequence, with the university's coming first, so a programme that does not want you ends it before the Ministry ever sees it.
