We haven't confirmed this year's application window, and these dates move every cycle — so we won't print one. The official page is the only reliable source. Ask us and we'll track it for you and tell you when it opens.

Eligibility

Indian students are not eligible for this one. Global Affairs Canada publishes a closed list of eligible countries for the Study in Canada Scholarships — in Asia it is Bangladesh, Nepal and Taiwan; in Europe Türkiye and Ukraine; the rest are North African, Middle Eastern and sub-Saharan countries — and India is not on it. There is a second barrier even for an eligible applicant: this is not a scholarship you apply for. Participating Canadian institutions identify and nominate their own candidates through the MyEduCanada portal, and the programme page states plainly that direct applications from individuals are not accepted.

How to apply

Nothing for a student to submit. The Canadian host institution applies on a project basis, selects its own participants beforehand, and the funding is paid to the institution rather than to you. If you are a citizen of one of the listed countries, the route in is to ask the Canadian institution you are applying to whether it takes part.
