We haven't confirmed this year's application window, and these dates move every cycle — so we won't print one. The official page is the only reliable source. Ask us and we'll track it for you and tell you when it opens.
Eligibility
HKUST considers every applicant for its academic scholarships automatically, so no separate form is needed to be assessed for those. Its non-academic awards do require their own application. HKUST does not publish GPA thresholds or nationality restrictions for international scholarships on its scholarships page, so treat any figure you see quoted elsewhere as somebody else's estimate rather than a published cut-off.
Academic scholarships need no separate application — you are considered on applying for admission. Non-academic awards require a separate application of their own. For applicants holding international qualifications the Priority Round closes on 25 November 2026, and applying in that round is what puts you in front of the scholarship assessment rather than after it.
University-specific. Confirm the current value on the official page before you apply.
