Eligibility
Indian citizens and OCI card holders aged 23 or under at the time of application, currently enrolled at or having completed studies at an Indian senior secondary school. Those who studied abroad are eligible, but preference is given to applicants educated in India. You must have applied for admission to a French institution BEFORE applying for the scholarship. The course must take place in France — any semester or more elsewhere is not covered. Knowledge of French is an asset but not mandatory. Students already studying a bachelor's in France may apply for funding for their second or third year.
Awardees hold French government scholarship status (Boursier du Gouvernement Français), with the same benefits as the Master strand: €860 a month, visa and Campus France procedure fee exemptions, and student social security. It does not cover travel from India or within France. Apply to your French institution first, then to the scholarship. We help you sequence the two — free.
