We haven't confirmed this year's application window, and these dates move every cycle — so we won't print one. The official page is the only reliable source. Ask us and we'll track it for you and tell you when it opens.
Eligibility
Check the participating countries page for the SCHOLARSHIPS before anything else, because two different programmes share this name and they do not share a country list. Australia Awards Fellowships — short professional programmes — list India under South Asia and the Middle East. Australia Awards Scholarships, the full degree programme, are open only to citizens of participating partner countries: you must reside in, be a citizen of, and apply from one of them, and be at least 18. Confirm India appears on the Scholarships list for the round you are considering rather than inferring it from the Fellowships listing.
Applications run through the OASIS online system, with opening and closing dates published per country rather than globally — so the date that matters is your country's, and a country not participating in a given round has no date at all. DFAT publishes the participating-country list and the per-country dates separately, and those two pages together decide whether this is open to you.
Tuition + living + travel + insurance and other support subject to country rules. Confirm the current value on the official page before you apply.
