Privacy Policy
Last updated: 17 Aug 2026. This policy explains how Vibedu Study Abroad ("Vibedu", "we") handles your personal data, in line with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).
1. What we collect
- Contact & identity: name, mobile number, email, city.
- Study profile: qualifications, scores, target course/country, budget.
- Loan enquiry (only if you use loan services): co-applicant income and, if you choose to share it, your self-reported credit-score band — to give you an indicative eligibility estimate. We do not run credit-bureau checks or collect your PAN/CIBIL data; the actual credit check is done by the lender when you apply.
- Usage: pages viewed, tools used, device/browser — to improve the service (see cookies).
2. Why we use it (purpose)
To match you to courses, universities, scholarships and loans; to contact you about your enquiry; to provide test-prep and document tools; and to meet legal obligations. We process your data on the basis of your consent, which you may withdraw at any time.
3. Who we share it with
Only with your consent and only as needed: partner universities/agents for applications, regulated lenders when you choose to apply for a loan (their own credit assessment is theirs, not ours), and service providers (hosting, messaging) bound by confidentiality. We never sell your data. Company logos/links on our site point to the real source; we don’t rehost their content.
4. Your rights (DPDP Act)
- Access and correction of your data.
- Erasure — ask us to delete your data.
- Withdraw consent, and nominate someone to exercise your rights.
- Grievance redressal — see our Grievance Redressal page.
To exercise any right, email apply@vibedu.com.
5. Security & retention
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards (encrypted transport, access controls) and keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above or as law requires.
6. Children
Services are intended for users 18+. We do not knowingly process a child’s data without verifiable parental consent, as the DPDP Act requires.
7. Contact
Questions about this policy or your data: apply@vibedu.com · +91 95140 95141. To complain rather than ask, use Grievance Redressal, which sets out the escalation route and the acknowledgement timeline.
8. Cookies & measurement
Essential cookies keep you signed in and remember your choices. Everything else is optional, and our cookie banner asks first.
- If you choose “Accept all”: Google Analytics and Google Ads measure visits and enquiries with cookies, Microsoft Clarity records anonymised usage to help us fix the site, and the Meta Pixel measures our Facebook/Instagram ads.
- If you choose “Essential only”, or have not chosen yet: no analytics or advertising cookies are set, and Clarity and the Meta Pixel do not load. Google’s tags use Consent Mode: they may send Google cookieless signals — for example that a page was viewed or an enquiry was made — with no cookie, advertising ID or personal details, which Google uses only in aggregate to estimate ad results.
- You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser; the banner will ask again.
