Esports Business

The Esports Business degree at KAMK is a unique, international Bachelor’s program taught in English, designed for those passionate about the growing esports industry. The program combines business management studies with specialized esports knowledge, preparing students for diverse roles in the global esports ecosystem.The Bachelor’s of Esports Business is not a player training course and therefore is not focused on improving the students’ in-game ability but rather provides attendees with an all-encompassing curriculum focused on the various career opportunities available in the esports landscape, primarily focusing on business operations, digital marketing, and event management. You will receive the same core fundamental business knowledge as those within traditional business degrees, but through the lens of esports and utilizing topical industry case studies.Your future career might be within esports teams or organisations, gaming and media companies, marketing, content creation or with event management agencies. Potentially you might also coach players and team members or start your own business.All new students are required to bring their own personal laptops (BYOD = bring your own device). The studies take place on campus in Kajaani.
