The Master’s programme in Professional IT Development (Pro ITD) at HTW Berlin provides in-depth knowledge in enterprise information technology and digital transformation. It is designed for professionals already working in IT, graduates of computer science, information technology, engineering, business, and related fields, as well as those from non-technical backgrounds looking to transition into the IT industry. The programme has a strong practical orientation, integrating hands-on projects, industry case studies, and networking opportunities to equip students with the skills required to succeed in technical and leadership roles. Students learn to analyse and evaluate corporate IT landscapes, plan and implement scalable IT solutions, and take on key strategic roles in digital business and innovation. The programme includes a significant project-based component, where students apply their knowledge to real-world industry challenges. Students can specialise in areas such as data science, cloud computing, cybersecurity, or IT consulting, opening career paths in roles such as Digital Business Architect, Data Scientist, Enterprise Architect, Chief Digital Officer, and Cloud Architect.
