The scheme
The Third Level Graduate Programme (Stamp 1G) allows non-EEA graduates of recognised Irish awards to remain in Ireland after study to seek graduate-level employment and apply for a general or critical skills employment permit. Graduates at Level 8 (honours bachelor's) receive 12 months; graduates at Level 9 or above (master's/PhD) may receive up to 24 months, granted in two 12-month blocks.
How to qualify
Applicants must apply within six months of confirmation of their award, hold a current Stamp 2 student permission and valid registration card, and be physically present in Ireland. Overall student permission is capped (seven years for Level 8, eight years for Level 9+ pathways).
