Senior Travel Consultant
Holiday Vibez is looking for an experienced and customer-focused Senior Travel Consultant to manage end-to-end holiday package planning and sales. The role involves designing customized travel itineraries, handling client relationships, and driving holiday package conversions across multiple destinations.
The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of domestic and international holiday destinations with proven experience in itinerary planning, costing, and achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Inquiry Management
- Handle inquiries related to domestic and international holiday packages
- Design customized itineraries based on client preferences and budgets
- Convert travel inquiries into confirmed bookings
Booking Coordination
- Coordinate with airlines, hotels, transport providers, and vendors
- Manage end-to-end booking processes
- Arrange flights, hotels, visas, and insurance
Customer Service
- Provide exceptional service before, during, and after travel
- Handle escalations, changes, and special requirements professionally
- Maintain accurate client records and payment details
Sales & Target Achievement
- Achieve sales targets for holiday packages
- Drive conversions and maximize revenue
- Track performance metrics and bookings
Team Leadership
- Mentor junior travel consultants
- Support team performance and development
- Share knowledge and best practices
Industry Knowledge
- Stay updated on travel trends and popular destinations
- Monitor pricing and competitor offerings
- Research new travel products and packages
Eligibility & Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Travel, Tourism, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Travel Consultant or similar role
- Strong knowledge of domestic and international holiday destinations
- Experience in itinerary planning, costing, and negotiations
- Excellent communication, sales, and customer-handling skills
- Ability to work independently and meet revenue targets
- Proficiency in travel booking systems and MS Office
Preferred Skills
- Experience handling group tours and customised holidays
- Knowledge of travel documentation and visa processes
- Multilingual abilities preferred
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities
