Business Development Executive
Vibedu Study Abroad is looking for a proactive and result-driven Business Development Executive for our Coimbatore office. The role involves business development, fieldwork, and building partnerships with schools and colleges to promote overseas education opportunities.
Location: Coimbatore

The ideal candidate will play a key role in generating leads, converting inquiries into enrollments, and expanding Vibedu's presence through strategic fieldwork and institutional partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Student Counseling & Guidance

  • Counsel students and parents on study abroad options
  • Guide on universities, courses, and eligibility criteria
  • Explain admission procedures and requirements

Lead Generation & Conversion

  • Generate leads through walk-ins, referrals, and digital platforms
  • Convert inquiries into successful applications
  • Achieve monthly/quarterly enrollment targets

Fieldwork & Partnerships

  • Build partnerships with schools and colleges
  • Organize student seminars and education fairs
  • Conduct local travel for fieldwork and visits

Events & Outreach

  • Plan and execute seminars and workshops
  • Coordinate promotional events for student recruitment
  • Manage education fairs and outreach programs

Student Management & Coordination

  • Maintain accurate student records in CRM systems
  • Track follow-ups and application status
  • Coordinate with admissions, documentation, and visa teams

Relationship Building

  • Build strong relationships with students and parents
  • Maintain partnerships with educational institutions
  • Network with institutional partners

Market Knowledge & Updates

  • Stay updated on country-specific admission requirements
  • Monitor visa policies and changes
  • Research study abroad trends and opportunities
  • Analyze competitor activities and market dynamics

Eligibility & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline
  • 3 years of experience in business development (study abroad consultancy)
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel locally for fieldwork and institutional visits
  • Target-driven with excellent follow-up and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
